Welsh-born Paralympic athlete Nathan Stephens thanks Invacare for helping his wedding day go without a hitch as the Company supplied a brand new wheelchair. He was especially pleased to have the stunning Küschall® K-series to make the day extra special.
Invacare representatives met with Nathan and carried out an assessment of his requirements which not only included a chair but an additional Vicair® cushion and Matrx® back support.
“I would like to thank Invacare for their continued support, and giving me the opportunity to live a life of ease by providing me with wheelchairs that are light weight, practical and that are built around me and my lifestyle,” commented Nathan.
He went on to say, “Invacare doesn’t just provide the chair they provide a lifestyle that any wheelchair user would be happy to have. Without the help and support that I have received from Invacare I would still be stuck in a chair that would not fit, would not be giving me the level of support that I need and would not be giving me the quality of life that any person deserves. So thank you Invacare for helping me look and feel the part on my wedding day, but even with a fantastic chair I still did not outshine my beautiful bride.”
Invacare UK sponsors Nathan Stephens who is a paralympic athlete specializing in discus and javelin, and also participates in sledge ice hockey. He lost both legs in a tragic accident when he was just 9 years old.
